- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪A former swim team member & lifeguard, a current boat owner & sun lover (with > 30 SPF sunscreen, of course), and a daughter with a (basal and squamous) skin-cancer survivor parent, I appreciate the care this well-staffed and fully-operational office gives. I choose this practice because a) Dr. Heaphy is Mohs-certified; b) nurse practitioners assist with annual examination of the skin; c) in the past Dr. Heaphy coordinated with Dr. Akers plastic surgeon with excellent results (in my family's experience the forehead flap surgery successfully removed skin cancer from my parent's nose, which was then resected with minimal disfigurement).January 16, 2017by Rockerbee Otch
